TOM DAVIS has been climbing for 20+ years venturing from the continental United States to Alaska, Canada, South America and Europe. He is a strong all-around climber with accomplishments in high altitude mountaineering, ice climbing, big walls, long free climbs, and sport routes.
Significant ascents include Denali at 20,320,' Huascaran in Peru at 22,200', and the North Face of Mt. Robson in Canada. Yosemite ascents include the Nose (in a day) of El Capitan. A free ascent (with Diane!) of the West Face of El Cap (VI, 11c). The Northwest Face of Half Dome. Roulette- (V, A5) on Leaning Tower. Speed solos of the Prow on Washington's Column in 11 hours, and Leaning Tower in 10 hours, and a recent solo of Zodiac, on El Cap.
Tom has completed numerous first ascents at Pinnacles National Monument and in Yosemite. He worked four seasons for the Colorado Outward Bound School and served on the Yosemite Search and Rescue Team in Tuolumne Meadows. Tom brings the sum of his extensive experience when teaching the many classes at Pacific Edge.
